Highland Boards & Commissions – Redevelopment Commission

The Commission works to recruit and retain businesses in our community and oversees the Town's special commercial districts, as well as the Architectural and Design Standards associated with those districts. 

The Redevelopment Commission also participates with Highland Main Street Bureau on issues related to such topics as the town's Façade Improvement Grant program, as well as activities and events designed to promote and enhance downtown. The Commission also works with the Economic Development Commission on tax abatement proposals.
