Welcome to the Town of Highland Clerk-Treasurer’s office.

 

As your Clerk-Treasurer, my staff and I take our responsibility to care for the dollars you entrust to us to pave your roads, police your streets fight your fires and generally keep the town in good working order very seriously.

 

The Clerk-Treasurer’s office serves as the fiscal arm of municipal government. In that capacity, the office is responsible for budgeting and fiscal analysis as well as record-keeping. Within this section of the website, you will find details about Highland’s ward boundaries, trending data regarding our community’s residents and businesses. My office is responsible for:

 

  • Receive and care for all monies
  • Manage cash
  • Conduct internal audits
  • Invest the town’s fundsCollect fees
  • Forecast revenues
  • Build budgets
  • Archive records
  • Keep the municipal seal
  • Serve as clerk of the legislative body, journal and reading as well as officer of the municipality,  its corporate secretary and corporate treasurer.
