Highland Business - Master Plan

The Redevelopment Commission is appealing to residents to become a voice for Highland’s tomorrow. Utilizing the valued input of those who participate, the commission has drafted a plan to guide development for the next 20 years.

The goal: Chart a fresh course that benefits the community economically while taking into consideration quality of life, services and character.

“Essential to this plan is the full engagement of our residents,” Redevelopment Director Maria Becerra said. “Residents are encouraged to participate actively, share their ideas, concerns and aspirations for the town’s future.” 

Key priorities include neighborhood revitalization, expanding green spaces, improving pedestrian connectivity, upgrading transportation infrastructure and preserving historic landmarks throughout Highland’s districts.
