Assistance for Restaurantuers
Highland expects to expand the number of restaurants in its new Riverfront Development District by offering assistance to restaurateurs in obtaining special three-way liquor licenses for $1000 per year. The licenses are specific to locations within the Riverfront Development District and are non-transferrable and given only to establishments that are primarily food based. The Town is looking for unique and/or upscale restaurants owned and operated by entrepreneurs and small business start-ups, such as those that are chef owned and cannot afford the cost of a liquor license.
