ASSISTANCE FOR RESTAURATUERS Highland expects to expand the number of restaurants in its new Riverfront Development District by offering assistance to restaurateurs in obtaining special three-way liquor licenses for $1000 per year. The licenses are specific to locations within the Riverfront Development District and are non-transferrable and given only to establishments that are primarily food based. [Download the Application] POP-UP GALLERY "Art Meets Development" was a recent quote from the Post-Tribune Correspondent, Sue Ellen Ross, describing the new Pop-Up Gallery event held in Highland by the newly formed Highland Main Street organization. Dominic Noce, a member of the Highland Redevelopment Commission and HMS stated, "Highland is still a destination for many people". The Pop-Up Gallery is designed to bring together vacant properties for sale and for lease with artists who would like to show their art in a gallery atmosphere. Added to those two features, is a chance for business people and the general public to network, enjoy the art, view the space, and enjoy the refreshments. If you are an artist and would like to participate in future Pop-Up Gallery events, e-mail Us. If you are a property owner and would like to host a Pop-Up Gallery so that many people can view your property, e-mail Us. [Find Out More] |
