Therefore, the Commission has resolved to offer for sale the former Bult Oil site located at 2606 Garfield, 2608 Garfield, 2609 Condit, and 2605 Condit Streets. The parcel numbers are: 45-07-21-327-001.000-026, 45-07-21-327-002.000-026, 45-07-21-327-007.000-026, and 45-07-21-327-006.000-026. The offering price is $105,250.00. Limitations on the use of the property will be governed by the Architectural and Design Standards and Guidelines for the Redevelopment Area. The Design Standards and a map of the area can be viewed by going to the Redevelopment Department at the Municipal Building located at 3333 Ridge Road, Highland, Indiana, or by viewing these items at their website, www.highland.in.gov . Offers on the property must be in writing, placed in a sealed envelope, and addressed to the Highland Redevelopment Commission. It must include the bid price, the identity of the bidder, and if the bidder is a trust, the beneficiaries of the trust must be identified. Offers may consist of cash or other property, or a combination of cash and other property. However, with respect to property other than cash, “the offer must be accompanied by evidence of the property’s fair market value that is satisfactory to the Commission in its sole discretion” (IC 36-7-14-22(e)). All offers will be open for inspection at the Redevelopment Department for thirty days following the opening. The Commission may reject any bids and may make an award to the highest and best bidder.
